Real Madrid Won the first 3 Points and lead the Group D
Di Maria struck eight minutes after the interval, with Marcelo assisting before the Argentine hammered home a powerful trike past Zagreb goalkeeper Ivan Kelava.
The lead was almost doubled a minute later when Sergio Ramos slid Cristiano Ronaldo in on goal, but the Portuguese international's low effort was turned around the post by Kelava.

Cristiano Ronaldo - Tested To The Limit HD [Full] 720p
Cristiano Ronaldo swapped the fervour of a football pitch for the excitement of the red carpet, as he turned out for the hotly anticipated global premiere of the brand new film-documentary, Castrol EDGE Presents Ronaldo Tested to the Limit, in Madrid, Spain.
The Real Madrid star and Castrol EDGE global ambassador fuelled excitement at the Palacio Vistalegre arena in the south of the city by making his entrance to the drive-in premiere in an Audi R8 Spyder driven by the champion of the Castrol EDGE powered 2010 VW Dakar Rally and avid Real Madrid fan Carlos Sainz.
Ronaldo joined over a thousand football fans inside the venue for the first ever viewing of the unique film-documentary, which sees the Portugal and Real Madrid forward push himself like never before in the most rigorous scientific examination of a player ever undertaken.
Ronaldo was joined at the premiere by Poland and Real Madrid goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, who features in the challenges in the film, and took to the stage to introduce the film-documentary to the audience.
Cristiano Ronaldo commented: “To be at the premiere of this Castrol EDGE film is a great experience. To finally see it on the big screen is very exciting.
"I’m used to an audience when I’m on the pitch but this is the first time that people will see what goes on behind closed doors. They will see the strength it takes to perform at the highest level. This film is about what gives me the edge and I hope that my fans enjoy it.”
Castrol EDGE has been developed by experts and was tested to its limits to become Castrol’s strongest, most advanced engine oil yet. By applying the same rigorous testing to Ronaldo, Castrol EDGE Presents Ronaldo Tested to the Limit follows the star player as his legendary skills, strength and agility are put to the test.
In a high performance lab, leading sports scientists use the latest technology to test him in a series of challenges that show exactly what gives him the edge.
* Will his famous trademark free kick have the strength and power to stand up in an explosive encounter against walls of glass?
* How will he fare head to head against an elite sprinter in a unique battle of speed and agility?
* Can his mental strength and intuition help him through the pitch-black cross ball challenge?
* Will his skill, reaction speed, endurance and strength help him outwit trained marksman to survive the ultimate test - ‘Snipers Alley’?
Using ultra slow motion and high impact Computer Generated Imagery, and including a series of interviews with football experts including Fabio Capello and Arsène Wenger, the film-documentary will give viewers unrivalled access to Ronaldo, taking them deep into his world to find out if he has the strength to perform, or if he will break under the pressure.

Real Madrid Official Announcement
Real Madrid CF wishes to say the following regarding the decision of the competition judge of the Spanish Football Federation to open an investigation following the incidents occurred in the return leg of the Spanish Super Cup :
Real Madrid CF has from the beginning opted to show prudence and responsibility so as not to feed the tense atmosphere created by such events.
Real Madrid CF wishes to express how surprised it is to see this investigation is being ordered five days after the match, curiously just a few hours after the President of FC Barcelona publicly demanded the Spanish Football Federation to take action.
Real Madrid CF wishes said investigation absolutely clarifies what happened during and after the match. The club wishes it throws light onto the provocations, humilations, insults and aggressions that our first team squad and coaching staff were subjected to both on the pitch and inside the tunnel leading to the dressing rooms. These things regrettably gave way to the incidents that took place.
Real Madrid CF will continue to defend this entity's inherent values and will always strive for the greatest collaboration possible between clubs and institutions throughout the world •
