Sami Khedira has denied Mesut Ozil having any official Twitter account in his recent tweet on his official Twitter account, which cools down the recently developed rumour regarding David Villa insulting Ozil's religion.
The fight broke out between Ozil and Villa, after Fabregas was fouled heavily by Marcelo in the 2nd leg of Supercopa and Ozil came off bench to exchange words with Valdes and Villa but he got slapped by them and as a result David Villa and Mesut Ozil both were shown red cards.
Just hours after the game the rumour started circulating on various websites which stated that Villa insulted Ozil's religion, because of which Ozil got aggressive. This news was generated by the tweet posted by Ozil's account which subsequently was proved to be a fake account as reported by the teammate Khedira. The tweet by Khedira reads as follow :
